The Lowry selects VisitOne for a revenue driving connected audience journey
Lowry partners with VisitOne to connect digital tickets, drinks pre-orders, memberships and donations, enhancing audience experiences at Salford Quays.
Lowry connects theatre, art and and enhanced customer experience with VisitOne
At the heart of Salford Quays in Greater Manchester, Lowry brings live performance, visual art and creative participation together in a distinctive waterfront setting. Its three theatres—the Lyric, Quays and Aldridge Studio—welcome a varied programme, while its galleries house the LS Lowry Collection alongside exhibitions that invite visitors to discover something new.
As a registered charity, Lowry puts the income it generates back into its work, supporting communities, developing young talent and helping more people experience the arts. A theatre ticket, a meal or a donation can all contribute to that wider purpose.
We’re delighted that Lowry is using the full VisitOne suite to connect more of its audience journey. Secure digital tickets, mobile pre-ordering, donations, digital membership cards and customisable customer messaging bring useful services together around each visit.
For guests, this means convenient access to tickets and membership details, opportunities to arrange refreshments in advance and straightforward ways to support the venue. Relevant pre-visit communications help audiences discover their options before arriving, giving them more time to plan and enjoy their experience.
For hospitality teams, advance and interval pre-ordering provide earlier visibility of demand. Preparing orders for collection creates an additional service route during busy periods, helping teams manage operational flow and make more of a limited sales window.
Connecting the Tixly ticketing system to their selected EPOS system pointOne for pre-ordering purchases also supports a fuller understanding of audience behaviour, helping identify opportunities to develop secondary spend and encourage repeat visits. Secure ticket sharing can bring previously unknown accompanying guests into view, creating opportunities to build relationships beyond the original booker.
VisitOne commented on the venue partnership, "We’re proud to support Lowry as it continues to welcome audiences, champion creativity and make a lasting contribution to Salford’s cultural life."
