Play to the Crowd partners with VisitOne

We’re thrilled to announce we’ll be supporting Play to the Crowd and their their amazing venue and ventures through the VisitOne platform.

VisitOne welcomes Play to the Crowd

We’re delighted to announce our partnership with Play to the Crowd, the Winchester-based arts and education charity bringing people together through live performance and creative participation.

The charity runs the much-loved Theatre Royal Winchester, the outdoor arts festival Hat Fair, and Playmakers’ community engagement programmes. Together, these activities create opportunities for people to discover performances, develop creative skills and connect with their communities.

From its historic theatre to performances on Winchester’s streets, Play to the Crowd reaches audiences in many different settings. Its work with schools, young people and community groups helps nurture confidence, support emerging talent and encourage a lifelong relationship with the performing arts.

At VisitOne, we share the belief that a welcoming audience experience matters throughout a visit. Clear audience communications and straightforward access to useful information can help guests feel more prepared, whether they are regular theatregoers or attending for the first time.

Our partnership with the venue and the organisation will support Play to the Crowd in streamlining the theatre visitor experience through the VisitOne platform. By integrating with Tevalis and Spektrix VisitOne makes the digital audience journey easier to navigate.

Making the arts accessible involves many considerations, from affordability and physical access to confidence and a sense of belonging. A simpler digital experience can play a supporting role within that wider commitment.

“We are thrilled to welcome Play to the Crowd into the VisitOne family,” remarked Phillip Markwick, founder of VisitOne. “Their dedication to making the arts accessible aligns perfectly with our values, and we’re so excited to combine our efforts.”

We look forward to supporting the team as they continue to bring live performance and creative opportunities to Winchester and beyond.
